Around 100 people from the MU School of Medicine came to the sand volleyball court at MU to show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement Thursday. Students, faculty and health care professionals kneeled, sat or stood for eight minutes and 46 seconds to remember George Floyd and other black Americans killed by police. Demonstrators stood in two lines to keep social distancing with the consideration of preventing the virus.
