At dusk, you can see them, gleaming through the trees in synchronization: the red pinpricks of blinking lights spread across Pony Express Lake Conservation Area in DeKalb County, Missouri. They come from the handful of wind turbines, which are owned by Next Era Energy, Inc. as part of the Osborn Wind Project.
